Everett, a former Hillsborough County school member, and his wife Sharon, discuss a wide variety of issues relating to Wimauma settlement, history and schooling. An edited transcript of the session is included, along with the actual recording of the interview.

The interview was recorded in the space of a two-hour driving tour of Shell Point Road in Ruskin, as well as on US 41 in downtown Ruskin. Joining the conversation during the interview was Bill Burger, Sarasota County professional archeologist. The interview covers early Ruskin history and archeological and paleontology issues in South County.
